Abstract:
Provided are a workpiece conveyor device and a machine tool that can be driven at high speed and are capable of placing a workpiece accurately in a predetermined position. A work tool 10 is provided with: a workpiece table 26 on which a workpiece W is placed; a bed 14 that supports the worktable 26; a machining head 16; a column 18 that supports the machining head 16; an X-axis direction moving mechanism 22 that causes the machining head 16 to move back and forth in an X-axis direction with respect to the column 18; and a workpiece conveyor device 30. The workpiece conveyor device 30 is provided with: a connecting portion 50; a movable portion 46 that is detachably connected to the machining head 16 via the connecting portion 50; a base portion 44 that supports the movable portion 46; and workpiece supporting portions 48a, 48b provided in the movable portion 46. The base portion 44 is fixed to at least one of the bed 14 and the column 18. When the connecting portion 50 is in a connecting state, the movable portion 46 is moved in the X-axis direction along with movement of the machining head 16.
