Abstract:
The workpiece-flipping assistance device (29) is provided with: a pair of workpiece-gripping members (47A, 47B), which are brought into contact with opposing sides of a workpiece (13) that is held by a robot hand and is for gripping the workpiece (13); and a gripping state switching means (55) for switching the pair of workpiece-gripping members (47A, 47B) between a gripping state, in which the workpiece (13) is gripped, and a releasing state, in which the workpiece (13) is released. With the workpiece-flipping assistance device for assisting in the front-back flipping of a workpiece in the robot hand, the present invention is able to increase the freedom of installation conditions such as installation site, installation orientation, etc.
