Abstract:
In the present invention, an inlet-side opening 4a for a workpiece W is provided to a first space A in which a heating step S2 for the workpiece W is carried out, and an outlet-side opening 4b for the workpiece W is provided to a second space B that is connected to the first space A and that contacts the liquid surface of a cooling liquid 36. When the inlet-side opening 4a is closed and the outlet-side opening 4b is closed by the liquid surface of the cooling liquid 36, the first space A and the second space B are both closed tightly, and the heating step S2 and a cooling step S3 are carried out in a state in which a non-oxidizing atmosphere is created in a resulting tightly-closed space D. In the heating step S2 and the cooling step S3, the oxygen concentration of the tightly-closed space D is measured, and on the basis of the value of the measured oxygen concentration, the supply of a non-oxidizing gas Ga to the tightly-closed space D is controlled and the exhausting of the tightly-closed space D is controlled.
