Abstract:
A workpiece loading method using a piler conveyor (P) which is equipped with: a first conveyor (21) that successively conveys workpieces (1) at a first speed in continuous operation; a second conveyor (22) that successively conveys the workpieces received from the first conveyor (21), in intermittent operation, with the workpieces magnetically attached to the lower surface thereof; and a loading table (30) on which the workpieces are placed. The workpiece loading method comprises a first step (S1) for gradually accelerating the second conveyor to a second speed, a second step (S2) for having the second conveyor operate at the second speed and transferring the workpieces from the first conveyor to the second conveyor, a third step (S3) for having the second conveyor operate at a gradual deceleration from the second speed, and a fourth step (S4) for stopping the second conveyor and causing the workpieces located above the loading table to fall on the loading table by eliminating the magnetic force, wherein the first speed and the second speed are the same constant speed. This method demonstrates excellent manufacturing efficiency and allows accurate loading of the workpieces onto the loading table.
