Abstract:

Provided is a workpiece-machining device which has reduced constraints on the types of workpiece and details of machining to be performed on workpiece and is thereby capable of machining a wider range of workpiece and capable of performing a wider range of machining details. In this workpiece-machining device (100), a workpiece table (101) is supported on a rotating base (120) which is rotationally driven by a table rotational driving motor (125) with a table displacement mechanism (103) interposed therebetween, and a weight holding tool (110) is supported on the rotating base (120) with a weight displacement mechanism (114) interposed therebetween. The table displacement mechanism (114) comprises a rack & pinion mechanism which displaces the workpiece table (101) in the X-axial direction indicated in a figure. The table displacement mechanism (114) is provided with a power input part (108) into which a drive force is inputted from a table displacement mechanism drive device (130). The table displacement mechanism drive device (130) is connected to or disconnected from the table displacement mechanism drive device (130) by a drive source displacement device (132).
