Abstract:
The disclosed workpiece-positioning device comprises: a workpiece-retention part (111) that holds a workpiece (200); a workpiece-retention-part vertical movement mechanism (112) that moves the workpiece-retention part up and down; and a pallet free-movement mechanism (100) that allows a pallet (300) to move freely parallel to a reference surface such that the pallet can follow the workpiece, as said workpiece is lowered by the workpiece-retention part, and a positioning pin (301) on the pallet goes through a positioning hole (225) in the workpiece.
