Abstract:
A workpiece transfer device capable of transferring a workpiece from an overhead conveyor to a floor conveyor with the use of a simple configuration.
A workpiece transfer device comprising an overhead conveyor (1), a workpiece support body (2) which is conveyed while being suspended from the overhead conveyor (1), and a floor conveyor (3) which receives the workpiece support body (2) from the overhead conveyor (1) and conveys the workpiece support body (2). The overhead conveyor (1) and the floor conveyor (3) travel in synchronism with each other and are provided so as to face each other. The overhead conveyor (1) and the floor conveyor (3) are arranged in such a manner that, in a region (4) in which the work support body (2) is transferred from the overhead conveyor (1) to the floor conveyor (3), the overhead conveyor (1) and the floor conveyor (3) approach each other at slope angles (θ1, θ2), which are substantially the same, and can support the workpiece support body (2) at the same time.
