Abstract:
This workpiece transport dolly is configured in such a manner that a workpiece support base (4) is supported in a vertically movable manner by means of a left and right pair of center-folding link mechanisms (3L, 3R) not provided with lifting and lowering drive means. The workpiece transport dolly is provided with a lock means (34) which, in a state in which the workpiece support base (4) is not supported by a lifter located along a movement path, causes the center-folding link mechanisms (3L, 3R) to be held in a supporting position in which the workpiece is supported at a high position. The positions of the left and right pair of center-folding link mechanisms (3L, 3R) are offset from each other in the direction of movement of the transport dolly (2). One center-folding mechanism (3L) supports the workpiece support base (4) at the portion of the workpiece support base (4), which is located at a position along either the left or right side of the workpiece support base (4), the position being close to the front end of the workpiece support base (4), and the other center-folding link mechanism (3R) supports the workpiece support base (4) at the portion of the workpiece support base (4), which is located at a position along the other side of the workpiece support base (4), the position being close to the rear end of the workpiece support base (4).
