Abstract:
The metal core of this worm wheel has one axial end surface in which a first annular recess is formed and the other axial end surface in which a second annular recess is formed. A rim part has a first inner periphery part fixed to the first annular recess, and a second inner periphery part fixed to the second annular recess. The outer peripheral wall surface of the second annular recess (13) extends from the bottom surface of the second annular recess orthogonally to said bottom surface. The depth of the second annular recess is set to be 0.1mm or greater and no more than half of the gate thickness.
