Abstract:

This method includes: supporting a mother roll (10) in a state in which there is virtually no resistance to rotation; applying a frictional force to a belt-shaped object (42) that contacts rotating drive rollers (30 and 31); supplying the belt-shaped object (42) from the mother roll (10) to one of the drive rollers (30) via said frictional force alone; moving the belt-shaped object (42) so as to follow the rotation of said drive roller (30); causing the belt-shaped object (42) to roll up on the surfaces of the drive rollers (30 and 31) via only the torque produced by the rotation of the drive rollers (30 and 31); winding the belt-shaped object (42) into a wound body (40) via the aforementioned rolling-up motion; and supporting the wound body (40), by means of the drive rollers (30 and 31), in a state in which there is virtually no resistance to rotation. The belt-shaped object (42) is wound under virtually no tension. The belt-shaped object (42) is a knitted fabric for wiping off ink adhered to the surface of an inkjet nozzle.
