Abstract:
A woven fabric for paper making exhibiting more excellent smoothness while keeping
sufficiently rigid binding between a woven fabric layer on the paper making surface
side and a woven fabric layer on the traveling surface side. A woven fabric (1A)
for paper making consists of warps (21) on the paper making surface side and wefts
(22) on the paper making surface side, and comprises a woven fabric layer (2) on
the paper making surface side where warps (21) on the paper making surface side
and wefts (22) on the paper making surface side are woven in plain design, a woven
fabric layer (3) on the traveling surface side consisting of warps (31) on the
traveling surface side and wefts on the traveling surface side, and a binding
weft (4) weaving warps (21) on the paper making surface side and wefts (31) on the
traveling surface side and binding the woven fabric layer (2) on the paper making
surface side and the woven fabric layer (3) on the traveling surface side. A first
binding weft (4a) weaves a first warp (21a) on the paper making surface side, and
the first weft (22a) on the paper making surface side passes under a first warp
(21a) on the paper making surface side and weaves a warp (31a) on the traveling
surface side, thus forming a binding portion (51).
