Abstract:
Woven mesh fabric characterized by comprising liquid-crystal polyester fibers and having a mesh count of 350 or higher per inch and a fabric thickness of 25 μm or smaller. The woven mesh fabric, which comprises liquid-crystal polyester fibers and has a high mesh count and a small fabric thickness, gives printing screens through which pastes permeate in a small volume and which are suitable for thin-film printing. The woven mesh fabric which has excellent chemical resistance and high strength that makes the mesh fabric less apt to deform plastically is provided while preventing fibrillation during weaving which is prone to occur with liquid-crystal polyester fibers and while preventing a decrease in wear resistance.
