Abstract:

Disclosed is a wrench with translational jaws, comprising a first jaw (1), a first handle (2) and a connection portion, the connection portion being provided with a long hole (31), the long hole having a first side wall (311) and a second side wall (312) in parallel with each other, and the first side wall being provided with teeth; a second handle (5) connected to the connection portion by a clamping claw (52) provided in the long hole, a first end of the second handle being provided with a cam (51); a second jaw (4) in sliding connection with the connection portion, the second jaw (4) being provided with a recess (41) receiving the cam; a first connecting rod (61) connected to the first handle (2), a first end of the first connecting rod (61) being provided with an elastic component; and a second connecting rod (62) connected to the second handle (5), a first end of the second connecting rod (62) being provided with an elastic component, and a second end of the first connecting rod (61) being connected to a second end of the second connecting rod (62). The wrench with translational jaws is suitable for holding various workpieces; double-stage transmission is adopted to provide larger holding forces, so that the wrench has a higher efficiency, is less prone to structural damage, and has prolonged service life; and a locking mechanism is provided so as to free hands of an operator to make it easier to use.
