Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wrist watch component and a manufacturing method therefor and, more specifically, to a wrist watch component using a carbon composite so as to be very lightweight and have high strength and the like, and a manufacturing method therefor. The present invention provides the wrist watch component comprising carbon chips and a thermosetting resin dispersed among the carbon chips. In addition, the present invention provides the method for manufacturing the wrist watch component, comprising: a coating step of obtaining a coating sheet formed by coating a carbon prepreg sheet with the thermosetting resin; a shredding step of obtaining carbon composite chips formed by cutting the coating sheet; a forming step of charging an ingot forming mold with the carbon composite chips, and then heating and pressurizing the same so as to obtain a carbon composite ingot; and a machining step of machining the ingot. The present invention has excellent lightweight properties, high strength and the like, and also has chip patterns naturally formed by the carbon chips without a separate pattern forming process.
