CLAIMS

The invention relates to a smart wristband (10) in which patient information is included, which can send the patient's heart and registered health values to the nearest health facility in an emergency situation, characterized in that; and the wristband contains;

* a memory area with patient information,

* within said wristband (10) which performs the data transfer operation,

and an USB inlet (11).

It is a smart wristband (10) according to claim 1, characterized with having solar panels that enable the battery within to be charge with sun rays.

It is a smart wristband (10) according to claim 1, characterized with having a pulse-meter (16) that ensures the uninterrupted control of patient's pulse.

It is a smart wristband (10) according to claim 1, characterized with;

* GPRS modem which enables the sudden changes in patient's pulse to be sent to the nearest health institution,

* and a camera (13) and a microphone (14) that record the patient's audio or image.

WRISTBAND FOR INSTANT HEALTH NOTIFICATION

Technical Field

The invention relates to a smart wristband in which the health information of the patients is stored, which enables the call to the nearest hospital or the predetermined parent by the emergency button in chronic illness episodes.

Known Status of Technique

Improvements that make our life easier with the development of technology have become more useful and they are addressing all the sectors. Almost every improvement or situation now has a remote traceable status, making it easier to carry out emergency interventions. As it is known, health monitoring is a subject that needs utmost attention. Whilst the necessary intervention is vital, each second through the intervention is important to the patient. In some cases, the lack of people to perform the necessary intervention in the vicinity of the patient, or the inability of patient to reach at hospital by himself/herself, unfortunately results in death.

The invention relates to a smart wristband which is developed to prevent such cases, which contains the patient information inside the memory area, of which the energy is generated by solar panels on it, containing an emergency button through which the patient can transmit signals to the nearest health facility.

Purpose of the invention

The present invention relates to a smart wristband that meets the above-mentioned requirements, removes all disadvantages and adds some additional advantages.

The main purpose of smart wristband which is the subject of this invention is to ensure patient safety.

Another object of the invention is to provide fastest way of transmitting the location, audio and image to pre-determined person/people or health institution in case of heart attack, epileptic seizure, and similar situations which are emergent and which prevent movement.

Another object of the invention is to get wristband to be charged without removing it from the wrist via the solar panels on it.

Another object of the invention is to ensure that chronic illness seizures are intervened which are perceived according to blood and blood pressure levels.

Another object of the invention is to save time on hospital procedures due to the presence of patient information in the wristband memory.

Detailed Description of the Invention

The invention is related with a smart wristband (10) in which an emergency button is located where the patient's information is contained, which is powered by solar panels (12) on it and an emergency button through which patient may transmit signals to the nearest facility in case of an emergency. Within said wristband (10) there is a memory area that contains the patient information. Patient information is updated by the health institution he/she quits and recorded in the smart wristband (10). The data transfer operation is provided by the USB inlet (11) located within said wristband (10). Thus, the illness of the patient or the information about the medication that he/she has to use can easily be transferred to any health institution and intervened accordingly.

The smart wristband (10) gets the energy from solar panels (12) on it and the battery within charges. Thus, without the need for batteries, it checks the pulse of the patient and sends an emergency signal in case of emergencies. The pulse of the patient is continuously monitored by a pulse-meter (16) located on the wristband and the body temperature is monitored by a thermometer.

During the sudden changes that may occur in the patient's pulse or body temperature (such as chronic diseases, heart attack, epileptic seizure etc.), the microphone (14 ) and the camera (13) are activated instantaneously, the patient and his / her surroundings are recorded and it can transmit location, audio and image notification as fast as possible to the pre-determined person/ people or the health institution. The wristband (10) is used in conjunction with the personal mobile application and is also monitored by the health institutions or person/ people (parents). The pulse-meter (16) included in the wristband (10) can be controlled by the GPRS modem located within the emergency button (15) on the wristband (10) or in the emergent cases triggering the patient's tension or pulse, a notification is sent to the nearby health facility. Thus, quick intervention is ensured. Also, in cases such as seizures, heart attack, epileptic seizures etc. where the patient will not be able to press the button, pulse-meter (16) perceives the sudden fluctuations according to blood flow and blood pressure, makes automatic recording of environment and is able to transmit location, audio and image notification as fast as possible to the pre-determined person/ people or the health institution.
