Abstract:
The X-ray CT apparatus (100) is equipped with: an X-ray tube (12); an X-ray detector (13), which is provided facing the X-ray tube (12) and is for detecting X-rays that have passed through the subject (P); a data-collecting unit (14) for collecting projection data for the subject (P) on the basis of the output from the X-ray detector (13); a bed drive control unit for moving the tabletop (22), on which the subject (P) is placed, along the longitudinal direction of the tabletop; an image-processing unit (34) for generating a reconstructed image on the basis of the projection data; distance-measuring instruments (18, 23, 40) for detecting the amount of shift in relative position between the tabletop (22) and the subject (P); and a system control unit (33) for performing processing on the basis of the detection results from the distance-measuring instruments (18, 23, 40) when the tabletop (22) has been moved.
