Abstract:

Provided is an X-ray generation device in which an X-ray tube and a high voltage generation unit are arranged in a housing and an insulating oil is filled therein, and which does not utilize lead, has a small size, can be produced at reduced cost, and has high cooling performance. This X-ray generation device (1) comprises an X-ray tube (2) capable of generating X-ray and a high voltage generation unit (3) both arranged in a housing (8), and has an insulating oil (4) filled therein, wherein the X-ray tube (2) is arranged in an X-ray tube holder (10), and wherein the material for the X-ray tube holder (10) comprises at least bismuth oxide and a resin, the X-ray tube holder (10) has an opening at a part corresponding to an X-ray irradiation window (7) through which the X-ray tube (2) can eject X-ray, and multiple slits (11) for circulating the insulating oil (4) in the inside and outside of the X-ray tube holder (10) are provided.
