Abstract:
The present invention enhances the density resolution of an imaging device that uses Talbot interferometry. Provided is an X-ray imaging device comprising an X-ray source, a positioning mechanism for positioning a subject in relation to X-rays, diffraction grating 1 and diffraction grating 2 for creating the Talbot effect in X-rays that have passed through a subject, an X-ray image detector for detecting formed X-ray interference fringes, a processing unit for calculating a subject image from the detected interference fringes, and a display unit for displaying the calculation results, wherein removing X-rays having energies that do not contribute to interference by providing an energy filter between the X-ray source and the subject positioning mechanism increases visibility and density resolution.
