Abstract:
Provided are a long-life x-ray tube device that improves the heat resistance of a recoil electron trap without using expensive oxide-dispersion strengthened copper and is provided with a recoil electron trap that is particularly powerful against cracking and a method for producing the same. Also provided is an x-ray image diagnostic device equipped with that x-ray tube device. To do so, the x-ray tube device is provided with: a cathode that generates an electron beam; an anode target that is disposed facing the cathode and radiates x-rays by being irradiated by the electron beam; a vacuum enclosure that keeps the cathode and anode target in a vacuum atmosphere; and a recoil electron trap that is disposed between the cathode and the anode target and traps recoil electrons recoiling from the anode target. At least part of the recoil electron trap is constituted of a member having a high-melting point, high-strength metal that has a melting point higher than copper embedded in copper.
