Abstract:

According to an embodiment, this X-ray tube is provided with a positive electrode that has a target surface, and a negative electrode having a first filament and a focusing electrode. The focusing electrode includes a valley bottom portion, a first sloped surface that gradually slopes upward from the valley bottom portion in the direction of the positive electrode, a first focusing groove, and a first storage groove. θ1 is greater than 0 degrees. The first focusing groove has a longitudinal axis. One end part on a first extension line side of the first focusing groove is closer to a first reference surface than the other end part of the first focusing groove.
