Abstract:
Provided is an X-ray tube that stably operates over a long period of time. This X-ray tube is provided with a cathode, an anode, a cathode hood, a first X-ray transmission window, and an envelope. The anode includes an anode target on which the focus for emitting X-rays is formed. A first opening through which X-rays pass is formed on the cathode hood. The first X-ray transmission window closes at least a part of the first opening. The envelope accommodates the cathode, the anode target, the cathode hood, and the first X-ray transmission window.
