Abstract:
The invention relates to X-ray tubes, in particular for panographic recordings, comprising an electron gun (12) for producing an electron beam (24), a target (20) and means (22) for focusing the electron beam (24) on the target (28), and a housing which tightly seals the mentioned components. Said target (28) is accommodated in an end section (17) of a tubular housing fitting (15), said end section being at a distance from the electron gun (12). Said end section (17) comprises, in at least two independent directions, windows (19) which are permeable to x-rays and the target (28) has a shape such that the X-rays (30) which are generated reach at least two of the windows.
