Abstract:
A yarn twisting device and a continuous twisting method. The yarn twisting device comprises: a machine frame; a hollow shaft (8) having a channel therein for a yarn to pass therethrough; a driving mechanism (2) used to drive the hollow shaft (8) to rotate; a winding mechanism (4) driven by the hollow shaft (8) to rotate, and used to wind the twisted yarn; and speed reduction mechanisms (42, 43, 44) providing transmission between the hollow shaft (8) and the winding mechanism (4); wherein the hollow shaft (8), driving mechanism (2), winding mechanism (4), and . speed reduction mechanisms (42, 43, 44) are arranged on the machine frame. The twisting device is simple in structure, produces small twisting tension, and can be used for continuous twisting of a single-strand yarn and combinational twisting of multiple strands of yarns.
