Abstract:
This yarn winding device comprises a yarn supply part, a traverse device, a winding part, a tension application part, an arm drive part, and a control unit. The tension application part applies tension to a yarn, the tension application part being arranged upstream from the traverse device in the yarn-travel direction. The arm drive part drives the tension application part. The control unit uses a value calculated on the basis of a tension target value of the yarn as an input to execute a control computation for calculating a control value for controlling the arm drive part, and outputs the control value. A traverse velocity of the traverse device is furthermore inputted to the control unit. The control unit changes a control parameter used in the control computation on the basis of the traverse velocity.
