Abstract:
A Yunnan Baiyao nanoemulsion, made of the following raw materials by weight percentage: 1 g-4 g of Yunnan Baiyao, 2.6 g-55 g of oil, 2.5 g-55 g of surfactant, 5 g-102 g of ethyl alcohol, and 2 g-30 g of water; the oil is ethyl acetate; and the surfactant is Twain-80 or castor oil polyoxyethylene ether (40). The Yunnan Baiyao nanoemulsion improves drug stability during Yunnan Baiyao processing, increases transdermal absorption level, improves bioavailability, and slows the in vivo drug metabolizing thereof.
