Title:
ZADOFF-CHU SEQUENCE ALLOCATION METHOD IN CELLULAR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2008/053971
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A Zadoff-Chu sequence (ZC sequence) allocation method is provided to enable the prevention of, while the sequence length of a Zadoff-Chu sequence is kept long, both performance deteriorations due to an influence of a frequency offset and a partial correlation method. In this method, a ZC sequence with a sequence number r or N-r to satisfy the following condition as a preamble of a RACH (Random Access Channel) is allocated to a specific cell in a plurality of cells composing a cellular wireless communication system: r≤N/L (where r is a sequence number of the Zadoff-Chu sequence, N is a sequence length of the Zadoff-Chu sequence, and L is a section length of a detecting window of the preamble).
