Abstract:
Disclosed is a substance with far greater catalytic activity in a Suzuki-Miyaura reaction in comparison to conventional heterogeneous catalysts. A zeolite-palladium complex is provided with a USY zeolite and Pd supported on the aforementioned USY zeolite, wherein the aforementioned Pd has a Pd-Pd coordination number of 4 or less and an oxidation number of 0.5 or less.
