Abstract:
A zero-carbon emission fossil fuel power generation method and apparatus system. The method comprises steps of carrying out geological exploration to select a carbon dioxide sequestration layer, constructing a fossil fuel power plant at a site above the selected carbon dioxide sequestration layer, pumping oxygen to the fossil fuel and performing oxygen-rich combustion to generate electricity, transmitting the generated electric energy to the outside, and injecting the generated carbon dioxide-rich flue gas into the carbon dioxide sequestration layer on-site. In the present invention, a site for generation of a carbon dioxide-rich flue gas is horizontally close to a site for injection thereof into a carbon dioxide sequestration layer, and the method directly injects the carbon-rich flue gas, containing 50-95% carbon dioxide, into the carbon sequestration layer, thereby eliminating a long-distance transportation link between a carbon capture link and a carbon sequestration link, such that carbon capture cost and overall CCS cost can be greatly reduced, thus achieving zero-carbon emission fossil fuel power generation economically and viably.
