Abstract:
Zero run-length value encoding and decoding methods and video encoding and decoding methods, apparatuses and systems. When point-by-point encoding and decoding are carried out on attribute information of points in a video, zero run-length values are encoded and decoded; the zero run-length values are encoded, the parity of values to be encoded are represented by using a parity marker, and in combination with a flag bit and a numerical value, completing the encoding of the values to be encoded. When decoding, the parity marker, the flag bit and the numerical value are used to acquire a zero run-length value. The embodiments of the present disclosure also provide corresponding encoding and decoding apparatuses and systems. The embodiments of the present disclosure can reduce encoding overhead and increase compression efficiency.
