Abstract:
Provided are: a zinc-plated steel plate that consistently exhibits excellent press-moldability whether the plate is a high strength zinc-plated steel plate or a zinc-plated steel plate of relatively low strength on which complex molding is performed, and which does not generate harmful fumes during welding; and a production method therefor. The plate has an oxide layer on the surface of the zinc-plated steel plate. The oxide layer has an average thickness of at least 20 nm. The oxide layer contains at least 30 mg/m2 of Zn, at least 1.0 mg/m2 of S, and 50 mg/m2 to 1000 mg/m2 of polyethylene particles with an average particle diameter of 5.0 µm or less.
