Abstract:
The present invention relates to a zinc-silver-indium-sulfide core, and a core-shell structured luminescent nanoparticle comprising a shell surrounding the core and a production method therefor. More specifically, the present invention provides a zinc-silver-indium-sulfide ((ZnxAgyInz)S2) core, and a core-shell structured luminescent nanoparticle (where 0≤x≤1, 0≤y≤1, 0.1≤z≤1, x+y+z=1) comprising a shell surrounding the core and a production method therefor. Unlike conventional techniques, the core-shell structured luminescent nanoparticle according to the present invention optimizes the composition of materials within a short time period using combinatorial chemistry, thereby comprising a core of zinc-silver-indium-sulfide composition and a shell, with desired properties. In addition, the nanoparticle comprises the shell serving as a protective film capable of increasing quantum efficiency, and thus, shows more improved luminescent properties compared to when having only the core of zinc-silver-indium-sulfide composition. Furthermore, a simple process of ultrasonic irradiation allows synthesis of the core-shell structured luminescent nanoparticle, and therefore, is capable of mass production and has an advantageous effect of allowing a more economical production of the core-shell structured luminescent nanoparticle.
