Abstract:
The present invention provides a zirconia calcined body which has achieved preferable color, light transmitting properties and strength with a short-time firing. The present invention relates to a zirconia calcined body which has a multilayer structure that is composed of at least three layers containing zirconia and a stabilizer that is capable of suppressing phase transition of zirconia, wherein: the main crystal system of the zirconia is monoclinic; the multilayer structure comprises at least two layers that are different from each other in the stabilizer content relative to the total mol of the zirconia and the stabilizer; the multilayer structure comprises at least two layers that have generally same stabilizer contents relative to the total mol of the zirconia and the stabilizer; and all layers having generally same stabilizer contents contain a coloring component, while being different from each other in the coloring component composition.
