Abstract:
[Problem] To obtain a zoom lens which is compact while having a high magnification ratio, and in which aberrations throughout the magnification range are satisfactorily corrected. [Solution] The present invention comprises, in order from the object side: a first lens group (G1) having a positive refractive power; a second lens group (G2) having a negative refractive power; a third lens group (G3) having a positive refractive power; a fourth lens group (G4) having a negative refractive power; and a fifth lens group (G5) having a positive refractive power. The third lens group (G3) has a doublet nearest to the object side and nearest to the image side. The fourth lens group (G4) comprises, in order from the object side, a negative lens and a positive lens. When changing the magnification from the wide angle end toward the telephoto end, the spaces between the lens groups change, and the fifth lens group (G5) remains stationary while at least the first lens group (G1) and the fourth lens group (G4) are moved.
