Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a zoom lens which is preferable for use as a telephoto lens, has a short total lens length in both a housed state and an in-use state when mounted on an imaging device, and has a high optical performance with various aberrations favorably corrected, and an imaging device equipped with the zoom lens.
[Solution] A zoom lens is substantially constituted by, in order from the object side: a positive first lens group (G1); a negative second lens group (G2); a positive third lens group (G3); a positive fourth lens group (G4); a negative fifth lens group (G5); and a positive sixth lens group (G6). When zooming from a wide angle end to a telephoto end, the distances between all the lens groups are varied. The zoom lens satisfies the following conditional expression (1): -5 < f1 / f2 < -1.5, where f1 is a focal length of the first lens group (G1), and f2 is a focal length of the second lens group (G2).
