Abstract:
The present invention provides a high-performance zoom lens that allows for a zoom function to be added thereto while suppressing spherical aberration and axial chromatic aberration, and an imaging device equipped with the zoom lens. The zoom lens has a focusing part, a variable magnification part, an aperture stop, and an image forming part in order from the object side. The image forming part comprises a negative M1 lens group, a positive M2 lens group that is replaceable with a lens group for changing the focal distance range of the entire system, and a positive M3 lens group in order from the object side. The M2 lens group comprises an M2a lens group, a positive M2b lens group, and an M2c lens group in order from the object side. Both M2a lens group and M2c lens group comprise a negative lens and a positive lens. The surfaces of the lenses in the M2 lens group closest to the object side and the image side are concave surfaces.
