Abstract:
Provided is a zoom lens having, arranged sequentially from an object side along the optical axis, a first lens group (G1) having a positive refractive power, a second lens group (G2) having a negative refractive power, a third lens group (G3) having a positive refractive power, a fourth lens group (G4) having a negative refractive power, and a fifth lens group (G5) having a positive refractive power, wherein at a time of a power variation from a wide-angle end state to a telephoto end state, the distances between respective neighboring lens groups change and the following conditional expression is satisfied: 2.90 <| MV 5/MV 2 |< 11.50, in which MV 5 represents a moving amount of the fifth lens group at a time of a power variation from the wide-angle end state to the telephoto end state with an image plane as a reference, and MV 2 represents a moving amount of the second lens group at a time of a power variation from the wide-angle end state to the telephoto end state with the image plane as a reference.
