Abstract:
A zoom lens that has, in order along the optical axis thereof from an object side, a first lens group that has negative refractive power, a second lens group that has positive refractive power, a third lens group that has negative refractive power, a fourth lens group that has positive refractive power, and a fifth lens group. During power variation, the interval between the first lens group and the second lens group varies, the interval between the second lens group and the third lens group varies, the interval between the third lens group and the fourth lens group varies, and the interval between the fourth lens group and the fifth lens group varies. At least one portion of the lenses from among the first through fifth lens groups is configured so as to be capable of movement that includes a directional component that is orthogonal to the optical axis. The fifth lens group has a meniscus-shaped positive lens that has a surface that is convex toward an image side. The zoom lens satisfies a prescribed conditional expression.
