Abstract:
A zoom lens (ZL) equipped with a first lens group (G1) having a positive refractive power, a second lens group (G2) having a negative refractive power, a third lens group (G3) having a positive refractive power, a fourth lens group (G4) having a negative refractive power, and a fifth lens group (G5) having a positive refractive power, wherein, when the magnification is changed from the wide-angle state to the telephoto-end state, the first to fifth lens groups (G1-G5) move along the light axis such that the interval between the first lens group (G1) and the second lens group (G2) changes, the interval between the second lens group (G2) and the third lens group (G3) changes, the interval between the third lens group (G3) and the fourth lens group (G4) changes, and the interval between the fourth lens group (G4) and the fifth lens group (G5) changes, so as to satisfy the condition equation 0.25 < f1/ft < 0.38.
