Abstract:

This zoom lens system has a plurality of lens groups each being constituted of at least one lens element, and comprises, in order from an object side to a top side, a first lens group having negative power, a second lens group having positive power, a third lens group having negative power, and a fourth lens group having positive power. The first lens group includes at least one cemented lens, and a lens element nearest to the topmost side of the first lens group is concave with respect to the object. An image capturing device according to the present invention has the above-described zoom lens system and an image capturing element for receiving an image formed by the zoom lens system.
