Abstract:
A zooming method and apparatus, for use in improving the zooming accuracy of a camera module. The method comprises: when a lens is controlled according to a target focal length to move in a working interval, controlling the lens to move in different sub-intervals, and determining position information of the lens by means of a position detection relationship of a sub-interval where the lens is currently located. By using the position of the lens detected during lens movement to control the movement of the lens, the lens can be more accurately stopped at a position corresponding to the target focal length, thereby facilitating improving the focusing accuracy of the camera module. Moreover, when the ranges of digital signals output by the position detection module are consistent, the position movement amount of the lens represented by each digital signal output by the position detection module in each sub-interval is smaller than the position movement amount in the entire working interval, so that position changes of the lens can be detected at a finer granularity, thereby further improving the zooming accuracy of the camera module.
