Abstract:
The invention discloses a computer which achieves electrical equipment application with low power consumption , wherein power supply power consumption controller is further set in the computer, which is connected to CPU on the main board and power supply of computer respectively; said CPU on the main board receives a external low power consumption operation command, detects a current application process, when detecting media application process, thus according to the media application, determines the status in which power supply of each of equipments of the media application should be at the media application, and low power consumption control command is sent to the power supply power consumption controller according to the status; said power supply power consumption controller receives low power consumption control command, and a command, which commands to reduce or turn off power supply of each equipment of the media application , is sent to the power supply of computer; said power supply of computer reduces or turns off power supply of each equipment of the media application according to the above - descried command . The invention also discloses a method for achieving electrical equipment application with low power consumption by computer.
