Abstract:
A novel $g(a)-olefin/aromatic vinyl copolymer which is obtained through copolymerization using a transition metal compound represented by general formula (1) and a promoter. It has low alternation and especially has a high block content regarding the aromatic vinyl. In the formula (1), A?1¿ and A?2¿ each represents cyclopentadienyl, substituted cyclopentadienyl, etc.; Y?1¿ and Y?2¿ each represents (un)substituted alkylene, etc., provided that at least either is (un)substituted alkylene; M?1¿ represents titanium, etc.; and X?1¿ and X?2¿ each represents hydrogen, halogeno, etc.
