Abstract:
The main purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for inducing the differentiation into a corneal epithelial stem cell and/or a corneal epithelial cell, which can be utilized for the production of a corneal epithelial cell sheet that has higher safety from the viewpoint of the possibility of occurrence of vascularization and the like and that can be produced readily. A method for inducing the differentiation of a pluripotent stem cell into a corneal epithelial stem cell and/or a corneal epithelial cell, which comprises a step of culturing the pluripotent stem cell in the presence of a stromal cell or an amnion-derived factor.
