Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a half mirror for displaying a projected image, which has a higher light transmittance and a higher projected light reflectance, can give a projected image with high visibility together with an ambient image, can be inexpensively manufactured, and shows improvement in problems such as double images caused by reflection on a glass plate or image blur caused by optical characteristics of a hologram itself.SOLUTION: The half mirror for displaying a projected image includes a layer having visible light transmission and an immobilized cholesteric liquid crystal phase (for example, at least 3 layers formed by immobilizing a cholesteric liquid crystal phase, exhibiting different center wavelengths of selective reflection), and the half mirror may include an antireflection layer on an outermost surface on a projected image display side.SELECTED DRAWING: None
