Abstract:
To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit capable of suppressing degradation of characteristics of a switching element by clamping a negative voltage when switching the switching element without increasing the number of components.SOLUTION: The semiconductor integrated circuit for driving a control terminal of a switching element S1, comprises: a drive circuit 13 configured to turn ON/OFF the switching element S1 by alternately applying a positive voltage supplied from a positive voltage source 14 and a negative voltage supplied from a negative voltage source 15 to a control terminal; and a negative voltage clamp diode D1 which is included in a semiconductor chip provided with the drive circuit 13, in which the anode is connected to the negative voltage source 15 and the cathode is connected to a control terminal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
