Abstract:
To provide a chain having high durability and capable of reducing oil supply frequency.SOLUTION: Grooves 21 are formed on an outer peripheral face of a main body portion 19 of a pin 9 in parallel in an axial direction of the pin 9. The grooves 21 are continuously formed in a straight line over the whole length of a range excluding an outer plate fitting portion 23 of the pin 9. In each groove 21, a resin member 25 corresponding to a form (depth and width) of the groove 21 is disposed. The resin member 25 is a member impregnated with a lubricant, for example, a porous body of polyethylene and the like. The groove 21 has various depths in the axial direction of the pin 9. As the width of the groove 21 is constant in a longitudinal direction, a cross-sectional area of the groove 21 at a substantially central portion in the axial direction is small with respect to a cross-sectional area of the groove 21 near an end portion in the axial direction on a cross-section in a direction vertical to the axial direction of the pin 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
