Abstract:
To prevent burnout of a motor by preventing liquefaction of working fluid in the motor in a refrigerating device including a two-stage compressor in which the motor is arranged in an intermediate stage.SOLUTION: A refrigerating device 1 comprises a two-stage screw compressor 10, a suction check valve 5b provided upstream of the two-stage screw compressor 10, a discharge check valve 5a provided downstream of the two-stage screw compressor 10, a condenser 30 provided downstream of the discharge check valve 5a, an evaporator 50 provided upstream of the suction check valve 5b, an expansion valve 40 provided between the condenser 30 and the evaporator 50 in a flow of a refrigerant, a pump down valve 5c provided between the condenser and the evaporator, a bypass pipe 4 fluidically connecting a portion between the suction check valve 5b and the evaporator 50 to a portion in an intermediate stage, and a bypass valve 4a provided in the bypass pipe 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
