Abstract:
To provide a short brake circuit in which brake torque can be effectively generated even in a high-speed rotation time.SOLUTION: A short brake circuit for an AC power generator includes a short current path which is connected between power transmission lines for causing output current of the AC power generator to flow therethrough, and conduction or interruption of which can be controlled, and a control circuit that is configured such that the short current path is conducted for the output current in a phase period in which the output current increases, and the short current path is interrupted for the output current in a phase period in which the output current decreases.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
