Abstract:
To provide a radio communication apparatus and a radio communication method capable of restraining increase in the circuit area and power consumption even when antennas are increased.SOLUTION: A radio communication apparatus compensating for distortion of transmitter signals transmitted from multiple antennas comprises a compensator compensating for distortion of transmitter signal occurring when amplifying transmitter signals transmitted from multiple antennas, a directional coupler for branching the transmitter signals subjected to compensation of distortion to a number of signals corresponding to the number of the multiple antennas, a first phase-shifter for shifting the phase each of the branched signals, an amplifier for constituting the transmitter signals, and after amplifying respective signals subjected to phase shift, providing to corresponding antennas out of the multiple antennas, and a feedback circuit for shifting the phase of respective signals in the opposite direction to the shifted phase, and feeding back the distortion, occurring at the time of amplification by the amplifier, to the compensator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
