Abstract:
To provide a cutting device that is able to prevent emission of cutting noise and scatter of cut pieces, resulting from cutting a round rod in a plurality of steps.SOLUTION: A cutting device comprises a cutting portion 70 having a pair of cutting members 71, 73 freely rotated around a common shaft 75. At the root of at least one cutting member 73 of the pair of cutting members 71, 73, a positioning portion 73b for positioning a round rod to be cut by its being brought into contact therewith is formed. The cutting members 71, 73 of the cutting portion 70 respectively have blade portions 72, 74 opposite to each other. At least one of blade portions 72, 74 has a projecting portion 72b, 74b projecting toward the other blade portion 72, 74, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
